Founded in 1992 as the Festival des Arts Hiawatha and renamed the Festival des Arts de Saint-Sauveur in 1997, FASS’s mission is to support the creation, promotion, and presentation of the most highly-reputed performing artists and groups on the local, national, and international scene, and to stimulate appreciation and sensitivity to arts and culture in a broadened audience base, particularly among the younger generation. Convinced of the fundamental role of culture in our society as a conveyor of values and a motor for development, the Festival des Arts de Saint-Sauveur supports the striving for excellence and encourages exemplary practices.
