Cruthaíonn Amharclann na Mainistreach drámaíocht den chéad scoth, a théann i dteagmháil go gníomhach le, agus a léiríonn sochaí na hÉireann. Bíonn léachtaí, pléghrúpaí agus ceardlanna ar siúl ag an Mhainistir, mar aon le himeachtaí for-rochtana le forbairt a dhéanamh ar pháirtíocht an phobail leis an amharclann.
