The Firkin Crane promotes the practice, performance and development of dance, developing partnerships throughout the dance community and provides support for development and growth of dance as an art form. In developing the audience base for dance, The Firkin Crane welcomes events from across all art forms thus creating a cross fertilisation of ideas and involvement, developing the collaborations between dance artists and practitioners from other disciplines.
Local interest in dance has been steadily growing and the Firkin Crane is key to this resurgence.
