Founded by John Scott, described by TANZ magazine as ‘Beckett meets Monty Python’. Scott creates his work in a country more known for text based drama and narrative theatre. Works range in size from solos to 15 dancers. Scott’s performers range from Merce Cunningham and William Forsythe, virtuosos to African Torture Survivors, with whom he has created several unique works, the most famous being ‘Fall and Recover’. Recent works include ‘LEAR’, with Valda Setterfield, New York Live Arts, February 2016, Kilkenny Arts Festival, and ‘Quad’ in collaboration with Pan Pan Theatre, Dublin Dance Festival/Beckett Summer School. ‘HYPERACTIVE, La MaMa Moves Dance Festival/Galway Arts Festival, Dublin Dance Festival, New York, ‘Feathers’, Tiger Dublin Fringe, 2015, ‘Actions’, ‘Fall and Recover’ and ‘The White Piece’ and Merce Cunningham’s ‘Totem Ancestor’ and ‘Night Wandering’.

TOURING POLICY

Tours regularly to New York – venues include New York Live Arts, La MaMa, PS122, Danspace Project at Saint Mark’s Church, New York, Philadelphia Dance Project. Other tours include Dance Base, Edinburgh, Les Hivernales, Avignon, Schwankhalle, Tanzmesse, Germany, Queer Zagreb, Croatia, Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris, Kanuti Guildi SAAL, Estonia and performances in Brazil and the Middle East.
