Founded by Annie Ryan in 1995, The Corn Exchange has created an award-winning repertoire, ranging from contemporary site-specific work, adaptations of classics and original theatre made in collaboration with writer Michael West.
The company’s work combines strong ensemble theatre practice with dynamic text to create and present stories reflecting contemporary Irish life – through boom and bust – promising a highly imaginative, transformational theatre experience.
The company is currently in development on several new works:
The Getaway by Michael West in association with the National Theatre (London) and a new play by Mark O’Halloran.
